Zobie's Artwork

About Us

For the past nine years, the Zoberis family has supported  Zobie's Artworks artist David Zoberis Sr. From the early years of  participating in local art shows offering paintings in watercolor and charcoal to hosting workshops through local schools and libraries, David Zoberis has been creating comfortable, enjoyable, and appealing renderings for the public. Starting out as an outsider artist he sought out academic training from Professor Charlotte Rolman within Northern Illinois University in DeKalb Illinois. After recieving a B.F.A. in painting from NIU, He went out opened two art studio's and entered over a hundred outdoor art shows obtaining honereable mentions to best of show awards across the midwest.   Written about in several newspapers and donating time and art to benefit organizations such as Altheimers Association and the Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra he recieved invitation to paint for the Lincolnwood Symphony Orchestra. There a event that heralded music and art was initiated with grand success. In the fall of 2008, two events were played where paintings of Prague and Sarejevo along with other renderings completed by Mr. Zoberis and played to for the Croation and Serbian audiences. These events were crafted to encompass the era of the time special sonets were written within those cities.  The events played to very large audiences and great diverstiy and proved art and music can work well together with different cultures.
